     JOEY NEEDS YOUR HELP!!                                                                           One of our volunteers discovered Joey in a pasture and was able to buy him and donate Joey to GPHRF. This little guy was so weak and malnurished that he was unable to stand up. He was picked up and put in the trailer for the short trip to the farm, then had to be carried from the trailer to the pen. Joey is now able to stand and walk around some but still requires help to get up once he lays down. It will take a lot of veterinary care, supplements, special feed, TLC and time to get this 2 year old mustang well and healthy. Please help make Joey a healthy, fun loving horse that he deserves to be.

 As you can see by Joey's picture he has made a lot of progress. He is now enjoying the company of two other yearlings and so much happier. your donations have given this little guy a much brighter future!
